what i packed for London (and what i’ve got my eye on)

Hello lovely,

Let’s talk packing — the glamorous art of overthinking the weather, second-guessing your style identity, and trying to fit your entire wardrobe into a carry-on. I kept things light for London, expecting cooler days and crisp evenings... but surprise: the weather has been unexpectedly kind.

It’s been warm enough that I haven’t needed to panic-shop for coats or layers — though, let’s be honest, I’ll still find a reason to browse. After all, when you're staying just steps from Bond Street and Peter Jones & Partners, a little shopping is practically cultural appreciation, right?

🧳 What I Actually Packed

3 New Looks from Zara
These elevated looks are perfect with a London twist. 2 looks are for dinner and one casual look. Look 1 has me feeling Pretty Woman, but a modern more casual feel. Look 2 is a beautiful 2 piece silk outfit with lace trim. I love a matching set and the fact that I can wear both of these individual for a completely different vibe. The last one was what I wore for my first day of stroll the streets of London. A nod to the 80’s mom jean shorts with a cropped light weight linen top. I wore a black cami under it. And of course my new Ray Ban black sunnies.

The Best Wide-Leg Jeans from GAP
Truly the low key MVP of this trip. Comfortable, flattering, and perfect with both flats and sandals. I’ve worn them more days than I should admit.

A Handful of Staple Bodysuits
A forever staple for me — easy to layer, always flattering, and they make every outfit feel a bit more “done.”

3 Lightweight Sweaters
One from & Other Stories, one from Arket, and one vintage find I’ve been wearing on repeat. Light enough for sunny afternoons, warm enough for breezy mornings.

🛍 What I have my eyes on

I don’t need much, but I’ve made a little mental wishlist:

A Statement Accessory
Something timeless but unique — a structured bag, or a piece of jewelry I’ll always associate with this trip.

A Classic British Find from Peter Jones & Partners
It’s a department store, yes — but with charm. I love the idea of finding something practical, well-made, and unexpected.

A Stroll (and maybe a splurge) on Bond Street
Even if I don’t buy a thing, walking past those polished windows and perfectly tailored coats is a style moment in itself. There are so many other amazing shopping places in and around London that are known for their shopping experiences.

Take a peek at the Zara looks below. I’ll even link them up for you. In the meantime, I’m soaking in the livlyhood around the city, the style inspiration on every street corner, and the gentle reminder that packing light is only a problem if you don’t plan to browse.

From my corner of the world to yours,
Missy
