I FEEL SO HIGH SCHOOL!! OMG!! I’ve written many blog entries so far, but none have made my heart race quite like this one. If you’ve spent any time with me, you probably know two things about me: I’ve been a Kansas City Chiefs fan since 1999, and I became a Swiftie back in 2006 when Taylor dropped her very first album. Fast-forward to 2023 and my two worlds officially collided— but today is THE DAY Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged! To me, that’s basically a national holiday. Just wait until the wedding; I’ll be celebrating like it’s both the Super Bowl and the Grammys rolled into one.

When Taylor and Travis announced their engagement on August 26 with a dreamy garden proposal and the cheekiest caption—“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married”—it felt like the love story we’ve all been rooting for. After two years together, it’s such a full-circle moment. And, of course, Taylor looked every inch the leading lady we know her to be.
